What is AI workflow automation?

AI workflow automation connects your business apps so routine work moves from one step to the next without someone copying and pasting. AI is added to the steps that used to need a person to read something, such as an email, a PDF or a form, and decide what it means.

How is AI automation different from RPA?

Traditional RPA bots copy what a person does on screen, so they break when a page layout or document format changes. AI workflow automation connects systems through their APIs and uses AI to understand content, so it copes with emails and documents that never look exactly the same.

How is this different from agentic AI?

A workflow follows a path you have designed, with AI helping at specific steps. Agentic AI lets AI agents decide the steps themselves, which suits longer and less predictable processes. Which tasks should we automate first?

Start with tasks that happen often, follow a clear pattern and are easy to check, such as data entry from documents, sorting incoming emails or preparing regular reports. Avoid starting with rare, high-risk decisions. Our automation audit ranks your tasks for you.

Should we use n8n, Zapier, Make or custom code?

It depends on volume, complexity and where your data must live. Zapier and Make are quick for simple flows, n8n and Power Automate suit business-critical workflows and self-hosting, and custom code fits very high volumes or unusual systems. We recommend one after looking at your actual workflows.

Do we have to replace our current software?

No. Automation works with the tools you already have. Where a system has no API, we can often use exports, email, shared folders or a small custom connector.

What happens when the automation gets something wrong?

We design for it. Low-confidence AI results go to a person for review, failed steps retry and raise an alert, and every run is logged so the cause can be found and fixed quickly.
